Payton remained down for several minutes while receiving attention from trainers and medical staff before he was helped to the bench.

Payton continued to call plays until the end of the first half and went get x-rayed during halftime.

Payton is supposed to coach the second half from the booth, but was still in the locker room into the first few minutes of the third quarter. It is still unknown if Payton will have to leave to go to the hospital.
