The Saints have no playmakers. The Saints don't have a NFL quality pass rusher. The Saints have one NFL quality linebacker. One of the Saints safties is a complete liability in coverage. The other safety is inconsistent and has hands of stone. I think it's more of a lack of talent than coaching myself. No NFL team can have a game in which they have four turnovers and create none and win. The Saints had four turnovers yesterday and lost by six on the road to a good team. One could argue that Williams did a great job at keeping the game within reach yesterday.

They also said they had the best roster they have had since being with the Saints. I don't see that myself just like you pointed out. Why didn't they keep Sharper??? I am not calling out our D for one week of play I am calling them out for 6-7 weeks of this crap. |

I call it like I see it.
I don't think we should be ok with the performance of our D. And so far this season the unit that has been very disappointing and frustrating is our defense. Deny that??? All this credibility Greg Williams has got is totally over blown and doesn't deserve it any longer. Like I said anyone can call up blitz's every down but coaching a D and teaching... that is a little different. |

Bad performances all around...
Turnovers! Missed tackles! Horrible run blocking by the O line! And yes, even Poor officiating! This game was a disaster in almost ever phase. And, yet, they still had a shot to win it at the end. The Saints are a good team, with lots of talent, but they sure as hell need to execute better. |

I'm just calling it how I see it.
Why isn't Sharper on anyone's roster right now? Ask yourself that. I'm willing to bet if he could actually pass a physical right now, he'd be on someone's roster. He's about to be 36 years old and had knee surgery during the offseason. I'm sure we all can put two and two together. |

If I tell you we won't win another Super Bowl with Greg Williams as DC, would you say lets move on and get someone else?
Not saying that just yet because there is hope we we can get someone in to assist in teaching our players how to tackle, how to play D and "bend don't break mentality". Wait wasn't that the plan when Gibbs was here hmmm. We shouldn't depend on our offense being so perfect, putting up 400 yards passing each week and 50 points each week to win. There are other players on this team and coaches who are getting paid good money to do something other than filling a roster spot. I can go out there on D and give you 50 percent until it counts! I can let a team hang around and hope Brees win it for us. Geez that is easy... If Brees makes a mistake we have others to help make it up... WE DON'T. |

I agree. We could use his experience back there and I think he'd be extremely helpful putting opinions in Jenkins/Harper's ear. I just don't believe with what he's been through and his age, that he'd be helpful on the field. I'd love to have him here as some sort of player coach.
