Defence pressure
Hey guys this is just my opinion but in the two game suspenion of Will Smith I think Junior Galette was doing a good job. Now I know Will has a big contract and I know the attention he gets on the side of the field but me he's not getting it done and Cameron Jordan hasn't showed me a damn thing. What do you guys think?

Well you have to let some of the guys develop. Can't call someone a bust until you give them time to develop under a good coach who knows how to develop them and I seriously question if Williams is the guy to do that.
Why for 2 season's now these guys can't tackle. |

Jordan is still green and is not going to bull rush anybody right now.
He is still in the boy among men stage of his career, and still has the best numbers of the front four. A case can be made for Smith only playing in four games. He's a close 2nd to Jordan and would lead the pack if you project his numbers out to six games. Now for that middle crew, I really expected more from Ellis this season. I also thought Rogers/Franklin/Johnson/King would give us a better showing. Johnson and King have legitimate excuses, Rogers and Franklin don't. Where did Turk McBride disappear to? We look for something solid that we can nail down and build on, but every weeks a new roll of the dice. We don't know who is going to show up to play or who will be looking lost out there. There has been at least one big pass play and one big run EVERY week, sometimes two. They get more stingy 3rd and 4th quarter every week, except week 1. That's a good thing. Maybe we just have to learn how to live with them being soft, get out to good leads, and just score 40 every week. |

Jordan is a rookie. Remember Patrick Robinson was a rookie last year and now in his second year he has made huge jumps forward. I expect then same from Jordan. We got 14financing sacks in the season far so we are getting some pressure. Our main problem is the back of our D.

Shaking up the front four woudn't hurt. They have been pretty ineffective thus far.
