This is why everyone west Maryland hates the east coast media

Maybe it was payback for the last time the Saints came to the Dome.
LAST GAME AT SITE
9/28/03: Colts 55, Saints 21. Manning passes for 314 yards & 6 TDs for 158.3 passer rating, highest possible rating a passer can achieve.
Maybe the Colts just really sucked,
Or maybe it was just football.

This "greatest performance of all time," "best team ever," "most hated coach ever," **** has to stop.
ESPN created this...
ESPN sucks.
The thing about sports is all this stuff has already happened.

There was a Bill Belichick before Bill Belichick, his name was Bill Walsh. Before him Vince Lombardi. Paul Brown.

The problem is this hack is attacking his own kind.

No one got mad when the Colts ran it up on the Saints in 2003. Or when the Packers did it to the Saints in 2005 (50-3).
Or when the league ran it up against the Saints from 1967 to 2009.

Dear East coast media,

Take my team's name out your mouth.
Go back to defending Belichick for cheating...
And learn that life is cyclical.

Cue the violins! Ran up the score? I don't think Daniel threw a pass did he? What are the RB's supposed to do? Fall down?

I know Manning was out....but the colts did score 21 points in 4 mins before. The whole thing about running up scores is stupid. if you don't want to get embarrassed play harder.

Let's see now. Thanks to the Saints you can't win a playoff game in overtime with a field goal (AKA the "Hartley" rule). The NFL will probably have a new rule that if one team is ahead of the other by more than a touchdown you have to kick off to them after they score so they can catch up. AKA the "Colts" rule.

One of the college all star bowl games had that rule to keep the games close.

That sounds scary to me.....the NFL just might go that direction.

I'm pretty sure it was either the Senior Bowl or the Hula Bowl. My first thought was the Senior Bowl, but for some reason it seems that when Archie was a Sr., he played in the Hula Bowl, and it seems like he was able to take advantage of that rule and continue playing in the 4th quarter even after his team had just scored. I may not be remembering this correctly, though.

Chase didn't throw a pass in the 4th quarter.

Makes sense in the college all-star games. Coaches and scouts don't care about the score, they just wanna see both sides get about the same amount of snaps.
