For those who don't frequent that douchebag:

b. I am sorry I didn't make more of a fuss over Drew Brees' 31 of 35 night against the Colts. I can't figure out if it's more Brees, or more the Colts white-flagging it. But completing 89 percent of your throws in an NFL game is something Brees likely will never do again. I mean, it's only been done four times, ever.

Makes since except Drew has gone over 80% multiple times in a year and has an 86+ percentage game each year he has been a saint.

Never liked the guy...the name is kinda funny, though.

Which reminds me of a true story...about a week old.

My wife took some vacation time, and she went with me to Gainesville, Georgia, on a service call. We got a motel room that night, and we were lying in the bed watching TV. I had been flipping around and then landed on Family Guy. I watched it for a few minutes and I can't remember but Peter was up to one of his crazy antics. A commercial came, and so I started flipping the channels. We were in a motel, so I wasn't familiar with the number/network channel scheme of the local cable. After a couple of minutes, I remembered that I had been watching Family Guy. I started flipping the channels back, looking for that show, and I said, "Where's Peter?"

I don't want to tell you my wife's response...and she was serious...but trust me...it was funny.

Surely something that has only been done 3 previous times in the history of the NFL is worth a few lines?

And done by the New Orleans Saints to a franchise as storied as the Indianapolis Colts?

And the worse beating the Colts have EVER taken in the history of the franchise?

BUT...

Peter King is just a hack who gets paid way too much to do something, poorly, that several of the people on this site could do - MUCH Better. He is not worth that much hate. Besides isn't Si.com just the Bleacher Report in disguise??

I save my Hitler level of hatred for people truly deserving - like most of Congress (both parties) or the Fal-clowns!!

I think it got kinda the attention it deserved. I love the Saints but can't seem to muster a whole lot of excitement over this win, more than the fact it was a win so I don't expect anybody else to do that either. I was personally a lot happier with the win over the Bears. Its just not as exciting when one team is clearly as bad as the Colts is this year.
