Just re-watched game

some things I noticed and enjoyed:

1. De la Puente was blowing people up. I know the Colts DL is smallish but he was rag-dolling guys 5 yards down the field. One one play isolated against the nose he pancaked his guy on the snap, ran downfield and took out a linebacker with PT following. 11-yard gain and a first down. De la Puente is for real and should've been starting from day 1 regardless of any Kreutz drama.

2. Saints up 21-0 and there is a couple in the crowd with a sign that say "I'm a Colts fan, he's a Saints fan, we're divorced for 4 quarters".
Al Michaels: "What about overtime?"
Collinsworth: "Al, I don't think we have to worry about that tonight."

3. Ingram is a beast. I don't care what anybody says about how much he sucks for their fantasy team, he runs like he's mad and wants to hurt somebody. I love it. That attitude is going to pay off at some point late in the season if we have to play in the cold and yards are tough to come by.

4. I really like Cam Jordan too. He's getting involved in a lot more plays. He probably won't ever get more than 5 sacks in a season but he's always working to the ball. IMO he's the most high-effort player on the DL right now.

5. Casillas played a freakin' magnificent game. I can't forsee any situation where GW believes that Herring should be playing over Casillas.

6. The Colts are a bad team, but not near the worthless garbage everybody is saying they are at the moment. It's all a bunch of overreaction. don't let anybody tell you it was all because of the Colts....There's not another team in this league that is going to put 62 points on anybody for the rest of the season.

Kreutz was a great player in his prime. It was a rational decesion at the time, I don't think anyone questions that fact. DLP may never be as great as Kreutz but right now, he's better than the Kreutz that was on the field without a doubt.

DLP was having an awesome game, i hadn't seen him play yet because i didn't get chance to watch all of the games at the start of the season.
When people started mentioning his name i thought i'll see how he looks vs indy, then low and behold he's running around throwing players on their backs and making running lanes, and most of all protecting the drew.

What i was really impressed with was - they recapped drew's average time from snap to pass and it was literally under a second and a half, the Colts D couldnt get anywhere near him when he's slinging the ball that fast and accurately. Well tuned offense that gave us balance to the tune of 236 rushing yards aswell.

Very well stated on all accounts. Spectacular rebound from the Tampa letdown.

I thought DT Tom Johnson did a good job in relief of Big Sed. He caused the fumble in the first quarter that was recovered by Cam Jordan.

PFF had Tom Johnson the highest rated D-lineman in the game.

Bill Johnson on the Coaches show last night said Tom is now almost 100% recovered. What he did was no surprise to anyone who saw him in camp before he got hurt.

The only negative grades on defense were Shanle (wow, thats a shocker) and Will Smith.
