this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; http://www.sportsline.com/mlb/story/7057344 "It's going to be open to every team in the NFL," Texans general manager Charley Casserly said. "Then, after that, we will find out what teams are interested and negotiate a trade." I wonder what sort of value we ...

Only problem is that you have a list of about 10 teams that are interested in him. Some have more of a need for a QB then we do and will probably give up more than we would.

I really don\'t understand the logic behind this sort of plan. Whether it be Eli Manning or Henson, doesn\'t it seem clear that if we get rid of Brooks in echange for a rookie QB that the offense will take a step backwards in 2004?
I don\'t care how good he is, as a rookie any QB is going to need time to adjust. So, you\'re either talking about going with Bouman for 2004 or scraping 2004 as a year of on-job-training for a rookie QB. I think it\'s pretty clear that Haslet has to go to the playoffs in 2004 so he\'s not going to start a rookie just so the next coach can have an experienced second year QB. This just doesn\'t make sense for the organization short-term or Haslet long-term. |

If Haz had been fired and we were starting over with a new staff, then yes, I\'d agree somewhat. Brooks is gonna be here next year. We have to accept it. Besides he\'s way down the list of problems with this team. WAY DOWN!!! The only hope for the BrooksMustGo crowd is that the venomous hatred and non-stop boos increase to the point a change must be made. With Jakes success it may happen though. But its gonna have to get REAL ugly, and I don\'t want to see it. |

Like the idea of Henson , although do not know if he is a head case or not . Callahan was a interesting toss in , am not sure if he has signed anywhere else . The Henson thought was in the air last night .....too funny |
