I still think we should tone down the blitzing. They know we are gonna do it and they gameplan on how to beat it. Wonder what the stat is on success of our blitz vs big plays behind it this year. Something else the D could shake up this week, and get the DB's up on the recievers on 3rd downs.

Blount isn't their only weapon. If we focus on Blount it likely means we cheat up with Harper. That allows Winslow to easily get behind Harper and our LB's and he'll eat us alive all day long in that middle of the field.

If we tighten our zones to compensate, then Freeman exploits us deep with Williams or Benn.

Watch out for Benn. He could often be matched up with Porter. Thats a play action match-up that scares the crap outta me.

Its gonna take overall good play on defense to stop them.

Doesn't matter, Harper can't cover Winslow anyway.

I think Harper should shadow Freeman because Freeman can run, it also puts Harper in good position against the run, it puts the DB's on islands and let Jenkins roam, I'm no coach but I believe this would work. We have been very predictable on defense. What do all of you think?

I hope our offense can put points on the board, that'll go a long way in what TB is forced to do...

Disagree. He has done very well against Winslow. I think he had 2 bad plays against him, but shut his ass down since then.

In fact, GW complimented Harper on the job he did against him.

I agree..we are becoming very predictable with all our blitzes...i like the stand around confused look we do on occasion..it works well.

Teams will just continue to run against us with all the blitzes and over pursuing we do..

I wish we could get pressure with our front 4 alone. that would solve a lot of our problems on D...

With that said..i expect our D to feed off the crowd this week and perform better. The Bucs love the underneath stuff and are decent at the 7 to 10 yard pass plays and the RB coming out of the backfield as a checkdown...I hope Vilma is going to play ..he will be missed in coverage if he can't go..

Harper needs to be physical with Winslow and pop him every chance he gets..and cover him like a cheap suit..

I think the Bucs will try and play a ball control offense ...unless they get down early..

With the zone were going to see from them on D..we need to run the ball..and take the underneath stuff ...then when we have them cheating up..go deep ..be it the seam to Graham and Colston..or Moore ..And take a shot downfield to Henderson or Meach...

Don't forget Ivory ran crazy on them last year ..i hope we try that first..I would rather Ivory get 100 yards than Drew get 350...if that makes any sense...

I've said it just about every week. Our DBs need to get up on the LOS and hit these WRs when they come off the line. Look at most of the blitzs we do and PRob is 10 yards off the line which allows for a quick slant to beat the blitz. Get up on your man and the quick pass is taken away and allows the blitz to get there.
