Given how fragile running backs are in general and even more so on the Saints, adding a top quality back was smart both short and long run. Ivory's return was not guaranteed, PT hasn't made it through a full season ever, and sproles will wear out if we subject his light frame to bruiser back duty.
So far no elite back has been healthy every game this season. One must have realistic criteria or one might be viewed in the same vein as Rick Perry. |
