Again, we stole that pick, with a Bush assist. We were lucky to get anything at all for him. |

They wanted Bush, probably more for his star power than actual ability, and giving up a ST player and a possible draft pick in order to secure the rights to negotiate with Bush without any outside interference was in all likelihood a good decision on their part, which may have actually saved them money or other commodities. Therefore, I wouldn't say that the Saints "stole" the pick - if there will be any in the end - because it was payment for a service rendered as I described above. |

It could be worse for him.... he could have gone to Philly .... LOL
Maybe there is some obscure clause upping the ante to a first round pick .... | |

If you count Sproles who took his place,{and locker, ha, ha.} we got Amaya for the trade and another pick,to me thats 3 for 1, I can live with that.

According to the AP at the time of the trade;
"The Dolphins completed a trade for Bush on Thursday by negotiating a new contract with him. Saints coach Sean Payton confirmed the deal, which sends reserve safety Jonathon Amaya(notes) to New Orleans and also involves an exchange of undisclosed draft picks." Dolphins trade for Reggie Bush - NFL - Yahoo! Sports So it appears the Saints and Miami will exchange draft picks most likely (late round picks) based on Bush's production in Miami. |

WHo cares - Anyting we get (with the additon of Sproles) is better than Reggie ever was.
I dont think he handled it well - I think he acted like a spoiled child (which he basically is) |

Somewhat depends on how crappy the Dolphins finish the season. The crappier, the better for us as they will be in the higher picks. Right?
Reggie gets touchdowns but he can't alone product wins. Alaska |
