this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I saw at least 5 helmet-to-helmet hits by the GB Defense, and not one was called. They are truly the anointed ones by the media and the nfl....

First Vikings posession they got away with at least defensive holding if not PI which resulted in the punt return for a TD. Oh well, let them become the 2007 Pats and go 17-0 but lose in the championship game to us.

We might have gotten a little preferential treatment on our Superbowl run. I do believe that the NFL manipulates the outcome somewhat, however no one has blown that whistle so I'll just stop right there.

Green Bay has been a prominant fixture in this league, since the merger, and the fact that they are back to championship form again, is only going to fuel the fire to keep them there. I mean, it is called the Lombardi Trophy right? It sucks, but it is part of the game I guess....

I saw the helmet to helmet hits also. Would not have changed the outcome but come on. I was scared that the officials would cheat the Saints out of this last victory in Atlanta and it almost happened. We got that one call on the fumble out of bounds that was big though. Just scarry when you have to be overly concerned that bad or inconsistent officiating seems to be the norm. Green Bay so far is the best team but are too many calls going their way you bet they are.

Also it 's the plays that are unreviewable where they can really stick you. eventually everyplay should be subject to review whe a call is in question to clean them up and take that out of the game. It is sort of like when someone commits a crime lot of people witness the act but the perp gets off.
