Updating ongoing reports, according to ESPN.com the Washington Redskins have agreed to a seven-year $43 million contract with Jacksonville Jaguars QB Mark Brunell. Brunell\'s agent, Leigh Steinberg, said the deal includes an $8.6 million signing bonus. \"Mark and Joe Gibbs have been talking every day, sometimes multiple times,\" Steinberg said. \"Mark\'s comfort level and excitement level with coach Gibbs has grown every day. He became convinced throughout the process that the ability to play for a Hall of Fame-caliber coach that had been to four Super Bowls was unique and too good to pass up.\" The proposed trade, which cannot be made official until March 3, has Jacksonville receiving the Redskins\' third-round pick in this year\'s draft.

I guess Gibbs knows what he\'s doing, but I can\'t figure it out.
Even though, I can\'t see ANY way that Brunnell plays out a 7 year deal. But they are offering big dollars in the bonus.
I wonder if Ramsey is going to be trade bait for Pittsburgh, Arizona, San Diego or maybe Tampa.
This deal should give 08 and I plenty of material for more \"cockamamie schemes\".
