Best player on the Saints Defense....

Based on 2011 so far...

1. Greer
2. Smith
3. Harper
4. Jenkins
5. Franklin
6. Robinson
7. Rogers
8. Vilma
9. Dunbar
10. Ellis
11. Tie - Galette, Jordan, Johnson, McBride, Porter, Shanle, Casillas

But he's also hot and cold. Albeit mostly hot.

Smith is also hot and cold, so I could swap Smith/Harper easily.

I think through 11 games Greer has been the overall best player, but Smith and Harper are right on his ass, metaphorically speaking of course.

Hard to disagree with your logic again. Still, Harper shows up just about every game and makes plays. Ditto Greer. Will Smith is harder to peg.

Harper is on pace to shatter the sack record of the Saints from SS.
