Actually we don't. We do have to finish ahead of of SF because at least one of their losses is an AFC loss and all of our losses, and all our remaining games, are NFC games. The first tiebreaker is conference record, so if each team finishes with the same record, SF would have less conference losses.

If SF loses 2 of the last 3, the Saints would finish ahead even if they dropped one more. So if for example SF drops both the Steelers and Seahawks games and the Saints beat both the Viking and the Falcons, then the Saints secure the #2 seed regardless of the results of the last game, which could turn the Panthers game into another preseason viewing.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.

With the 3rd loss by the 49ers, none of the sports media is talking about the strong possibility of the Saints winning the 2nd seed spot. The 49ers will have huge problems with the Steelers. They loose game #4 & we win the last 3. BINGO..#2seed & a bye. The Saints will not let up as long as there is a chance of getting the #2 seed and the 49ers may not be able to handle the pressure.

After watching the Seachickens last night, I'm very confident they will beat the ninetyfarters. The crowd is still going to the games and keeping it loud and their defense is playing pretty damn good. It was good to see Hargrove get a sack last night.

Hags win this weekend and they are 7-7 and have the head-head on Chicago.

Also, the only way the Hags can be eliminated totally before the 49ers game is if they lose to Chicago and both Atlanta and Detroit win.

I much rather this than Saintsreport. Not very informative and they just kept being too liberal for my taste. Like posting videos of why we should allow gay marriage instead of football info. I didn't think I had joined CNN.com.

I prefer to stay pretty much politics-free from either side, but yes, they are definitely extremely political, and their posters insist on shoving their politics down everyone's throat, not to mention getting extremely ugly and personal with anyone who disagrees with them. Also, their average age must be below 30.

Our guys dont care to get into political pp matches, and like to talk about football, or things we have in common instead. I think our average age is about 40.

back on topic: I cant help but feel, and Bobby Hebert says this also, that the Titans game was our biggest potential stumbling block. You know we're going to be up for the Falcons, and up for the Panthers. Take care of business, and #2 is OURS.

I would love for San Fransissy to get upset by Seatle. But we all know that T. Jackson ain't gonna to diddly and the winers arent gonna let M. Lynch run for more than 70 yards. Hopefully Seatle's special teams and defense steps up and gets some big plays to give them short fields and just maybe they can pull it off. LETS GO N.O. !!!!
