No better story told than one in pictures.
Glad you got to make the trip, maybe more so that you had such killer seats. Skymike, did you get a tan or is Alaska really white?? Thanks for sharing. |

Thanks for posting pictures AlaskaSaint! My buddy and I were in New Orleans for the Indy game and had a helluva time as well! Attending a Saints game is on my list of things to do each year!! Every fan should do it at least once....there's nothing better!

I think passing out was only wishful thinking at that point! We were still downtown at this GREAT sports bar called Buffalo's. They've got really comfy couches to watch the games from.

By the way, did they leave you firewood from the fallen tree? And was the damage minimal?

That big ol' spruce is laying the length of my driveway and I'll let it cure over the winter until I can get it cut into rounds in the spring. No real damage, though. Need a new grill. It blew off my porch and landed about 10 yards away. Upside down.
We've been getting massive winds and the snow that the trees are holding (spruce do that well) make them top heavy. I pulled into the driveway to 15 inches of fresh snow. The taxi cab got stuck so I had to pull him out with my truck to get my $30 back!!! He was pizzed! Miss me some South! But I'm going back down to central Miss'ippi on the 26th for two weeks of hunting! The wind blew money off the money tree. It was everywhere!! LOL Alaska |
