But when in New Orleans, eat where the locals eat. This is Mandinas, on the 3600 block of Canal. Worth it for the REAL DEAL. Just a short trolly or bus ride. My Mom and I used to eat here often as a kid.
Mandinas... if you get there for lunch exactly at noon, expect to stand in line, so bring a daiquiri!!!
Love the place. One of my regular hang outs.
