A Must Win

To be realistic this game with the Falcons is a must win!
If the Saints are to make a run at the Division title they must win this game, otherwise they just may be looking at fighting for a wild card and beleive it or not a 6th seed. We need to put together a complete game for 60 minutes , no more jumping out front and letting the other team catch up or falling behind big time and playing catch up. Just mehtodically get the job done and take no prisoners. This team is capable of beating anyone, but they always seem to play one bad qtr that keeps things close. I'd love to see a dominating performance that would be a spring board for the playoff stretch.

Guys, I have to agree that Sunday is at least as important as any other game the SAINTS have played or will play this regular season. 1) We can\'t let the Falcons swwep us, 2) it is a division opponent and we NEED to win the division, 3) every game could mean the difference between playing at home or on the road in December, and there\'s no telling what kind of conditions we could face at that time of year, 4) a solid win could do a lot to boost our chances of closing out the rest of the season on a high note, and 5) there is no guarantee that we\'ll even earn a playoff spot if we drop more than a couple of games down the stretch -- the top half of the NFC is just too competitive.

So gator, it\'s like I have been saying all week, the boys need to play consistent, 4-quarter football. Shut down Vick early and make him pass. And, we have got to play the kind of exciting, high-scoring ball we are capable of playing -- no scoring droughts, no stalls in the red zone and execute on 3rd down.

I think we can do it and I think the SAINTS will go far this season.

Sundays game is a must win for the Saints. As you guys have said,a win here will go a long way to getting the respect of the league. I also think it would all but guarentee a playoff spot for the Saints. I also think we need a big win over the Falcons, 6o minutes of pure hell, take it to the Falcons, beat them in all phases of the game and beat them soundly. Take no prisoners. Or as someone once said\" kill them all and let God sort them out.\" GO SAINTS
