Vikings' Headlines
I was curious about how the Vikings keep losing all these games, but people say they are always kind of close to winning, that the scores aren't really that bad. So I randomly went through Google and picked out the headlines from actual news stories about every Vikings game so far. It kind of tells the story of their season:
Vikings squander lead, lose opener to Chargers Vikings build hafltime lead, lose game to Bucs Lions erase 20-0 deficit, reach 3-0 for first time since 1980 “Matt Cassel hit Dwayne Bowe for a 52-yard, fourth-quarter touchdown pass, and Ryan Succop was perfect on five field-goal attempts as the Kansas City Chiefs held on Sunday for a 22-17 victory over the Minnesota Vikings..” Peterson powers Vikings to 34-10 win vs. Cardinals Devin Hester leads Bears to rout of Vikings Rodgers helps Pack stay unbeaten, top Vikes 33-27 Vikings beat Panthers in rookie QB meeting Rodgers, Packers thump Vikings to stay unbeaten "Hue Jackson watched his Oakland Raiders overcome a serious injury to receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, a costly turnover by running back Michael Bush and, in Jackson's eyes, some unfair treatment from the officials to remain on top of the AFC West." Falcons continue to soar after holding off Vikings Broncos, Tim Tebow rally to beat Vikings 35-32 Lions barely beat Vikings on final play |
