- Rodgers: 3-6 (50.0%), 163 yds, 2 td, 0 int, 135.4 rating

Breaking this down further....

% of pass attempts of 10 or fewer yards (short routes)
- Brees: 64.7%
- Brady: 61.9%
- Rodgers: 58.4%

% of pass attempts of 11-20 yards (intermediate routes)
- Brees: 20.4%
- Brady: 23.9%
- Rodgers: 24.3%

% of pass attempts of 21+ yards (deep routes)
- Brees: 8.1%
- Brady: 7.4%
- Rodgers: 9.9%

*Rodgers is 27-47 (57.4%) on deep routes this year. That's an amazing figure.

*Brees throws a higher percentage of short passes compared with Brady and Rodgers.

*Brady's deep ball numbers are pretty poor. Just 12-39 (30.8%).

EDIT: For some reason, espn's splits are not updated for yesterday's game. The totals are, but not the splits. That's kind of annoying.

This kind of proves we need a short game with Rogers. The Dome might not effect him at all, and allowing Rogers the long ball with jenkins could end our season. Brees strength is a short game so a blizzard in GB might be better.

Do you have splits of pass defence also. That would give another perspective of

That's the one.

But more specifically, the most successful offense against NOS, GBP, NEP defenses. So in a NOS/GBP rematch, maybe the Saints should go X and not Y.

Look. If I knew what I was talking about, I would tell you. But I don't

The stats don't show that Brees stiff arms D lineman regularly and moves around the pocket keeping plays alive, his pocket presence is insane and he has eyes in the back of his head, call it biased but it's the truth

Well if you look at the %'s of competitions in every category of distance Brees
dominates every one with a Total of 71.5% . That is truly astounding if you consider he has thrown 50 more passes than Rodger and 110 more than Brady. That is absolute proof of his amazing accuracy, because Rodgers and Brady don't suck.

TOTAL
- Brees: 417-583 (71.5%), 4780 yds, 37 td, 11 int, 109.1 rating

Brees is the best athlete under pressure as a QB. I think were most get confused is the running ability of some QB's like Rodger, vick, Tebow , and etc.. but running QB's rarely win you games. The job of a QB is to find the open man down field, and keep the play alive under pressure until he does.

Brees uses his athleticism to stay alive with subtle moves, stiff arming DL, or out thinking them. He also has a second sight no one can explain.

How can we prove this ,, glad you ask, easy

"No quarterback (including Aaron Rodgers for once) has a better accuracy mark for passes thrown under pressure this season. When Brees is pressured, he is hitting his intended target on 67.3 percent of his passes. Rodgers heads the trailing pack at 66 percent and only seven other quarterbacks top the 60-percent mark.

The mark of a great quarterback is often how he can perform under pressure, with the walls closing in around him. When you squeeze quarterbacks, most fold, but a rare few find a way to focus. Brees is one of those few.

It’s worth noting that Brees also faces pressure a lot more than Rodgers, with 127 of his 450 drop-backs resulting in pressure. Rodgers has felt heat on just 89 of his 348 drops."

Drew Brees: Amazing Numbers That No One Is Talking About | Bleacher Report

... and when you consider that Rodgers is getting sacked more than Brees with only 89 pressures, it becomes very apparent that Brees is the better athlete in the pocket.

hope that helps
