Brackens, Young visit Saints
The Saints had a pair of free agent visits on Wednesday as DE Tony Brackens and DT Brian Young visited the Saints complex in Metairie.
http://www.neworleanssaints.com/news...?articleid=654 The numbers look good on Brakens, but I don't really understand the need for signing him other than for depth purposes. I guess the same could be said about potentially signing D. Jackson, but I continue to see that it is a possibility. I'm still not even sure who Brain Young is and what kind of player he's been other than that he played for St. Louis. |

Brackens, Young visit Saints
Brackens coming in is just a waste of time. We have 5 DE\'s on the roster and he\'s probably not better than any of them.

All I can see is they may be signing Young so that we have a \"veteran\" on the D-Line. They may be planning on going after a \"big body\" DT in the draft.
