SAINTS SIGN: RB Lamar Smith
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think they are happy with Smith as 3rd RB. They wouldn\'t sign him if they are planning on drafting one. Sign bonous... why pay one when you are going to draft a 3rd string rb for league min. Cutting ...

I think they are happy with Smith as 3rd RB. They wouldn\'t sign him if they are planning on drafting one. Sign bonous... why pay one when you are going to draft a 3rd string rb for league min. Cutting Smith will be a cap hit now.
