Saints will use Packers blueprint against Lions

The Detroit Lions gave up 480 yards passing last week and Green Bay Packers quarterback Matt Flynn threw six touchdown passes against them in that game.

Now all they get for an encore is Drew Brees, the league's top passer this season, when the Lions travel to New Orleans to play Brees and the Saints in a playoff game.

Why? The Saints' blueprint from Wk #13 didn't work? Or you guys gonna' start your backups? . . . lol . . . I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself, haha! But seriously, what's wrong with a Saints blueprint? I would think you guys would be a little insulted by that reference.

In all honesty, SloMo, we need a BETTER blueprint than we had in week 13. Minus y'all's dumb penalties, it would have been a different game. We have to do better on defense.

And as a general comment: I keep reading all these articles alluding to the week 13 game, and how the Lions didn't have Suh, or Delmas, how the Lions stopped the Saints in the 4th quarter, etc... but there is not mention of Payton being still in crutches not calling the game, and that the Lions run D didn't get to experience the Package of Violence
