Saints defensive rookies earning trust
It was a potentially calamitous moment for an undrafted free agent. The Saints had barely opened training camp last August when safety Isa Abdul-Quddus found himself running downfield, defending tight end Jimmy Graham. The two collided, and Graham went down hard.
Almost immediately, veteran tight end Dave Thomas was on the scene, letting Abdul-Quddus know such contact was inappropriate. That was just the beginning. Seconds later, none other than quarterback Drew Brees arrived, having sprinted nearly 30 yards downfield. Facemask to facemask, Brees let the aspiring rookie have it. Martez Wilson impressed me the most last sunday. he looks like he MIGHT be our answer to WLB some day. He was all over the field. that 40 speed definitely translates to field. I hope he busts his but in the off season

Isa is going to push Jenkins next year, Dunbar has looked better in the middle than Vilma already, Junior is becoming a good pass rusher, P-Rob finally cut his hair for he could see the football field and is playing well, Patrick has come along good, Jordon is playing the run well but still needs to pick it up 2 notches, can't wait to see Bussey, also Romeus getting healthy for next year. We need 2 young DT's next year 1 to start and 1 to groom and a young DB and the Defensive youth movement is complete, I think we already have the young lb's in place. Wison is going to be great. Wilson, Dunbar and Bussey will be great together. I would like to take Mister Cobbles as a DT in the 2012 draft in the middle rounds, he is a need.
