Niners beat them and they had a bit of a skid, where they lost 4 in a row and 5 of the next 6.

It wasn't until week 16 that they got back on track.

It's true that NYG started a bad spell of games with the loss to SF on week 10, but they weren't that impressive even before that. W1 they lost to the Redskins; W4 they almost lost to ARI with a scoreline of 31-27; W5 they lost to SEA 36-25; W6 they almost lost to BUF with a scoreline of 27-24; W8 they narrowly edged in front of a struggling MIA team 20-17; W9 they won gainst NE 24-20; and then W10 SF demolished them 27-20 (while Bradshaw was injured).

After that they went on their losing streak: W11 losing to PHI 17-10; W12 losing to NO 49-24 (while still missing Bradshaw); W13 losing to GB 38-35; W14 winning against DAL; W15 losing again to WAS.

Then they seemed to get their act together (mainly fueled by their defense) winning against NYJ and DAL to end the season, but my point is that NYG was not a good team this regular season, so to claim that winning against them was somehow a mark of a good team... then the Redskins must've been absolutely amazing since they won against them twice.

And, by the way, they only lost 4 games after the SF game not 5 as you claimed. It would be 5 only if you counted the SF loss to that "skid" that they went on after the loss to SF, but that would be illogical.

So who thinks the Saints lay another 40 burger next wk?

I believe it will be a little tighter scoring but WE win in the end.

I'm expecting like a 28-17 score, we may get 35; depends on how quick the offense gets rolling and how long it will take Drew to get the coverage's figured out.

I think we will score somewhere in the 20s, but I don't think the 49ers will get more than 13 or so. My gut tells me 21-10 or something close.

I think this one will ressemble the Tenn Titans game. We WILL win, but it wont be another throttling like we've been doing. More of a chess match nailbiter!

sorry guys, Im more confident about this game. SF does not poses the offensive firepower of the lions or their DL. IF you kill SF's run game, much like what payton has to do to beat ALT at 10-2, they die. They have less offensive weapons than the failclowns.

We won't run on them at all. SP will pass on their #16th pass defense. I see 35-17 maybe.

Good luck stopping Drew Brees, 49ers.

You're going to need more than the existing 49er skillset on D
to stop Brees and Company. They don't scare our team, I assure you.

Just sayin.

niners will struggle against this team. there defense will keep it a game a while, then drew will just make there heads unscrew, like the last one. i don't want to be over confident but man looks whats going on here.

They have to try and win T.O.P.;"consistently" moving the ball with Gore is the only way I see for them to make it happen.

Good thing our run defense has been pretty damn good as of late...
