Thanks for the help in trying to enlighten those who aren't.

To summarize what I was tying to illustrate with the stats. Since the loss to the Rams the Saints have been effectively the best offense to ever play the game, period. Pass, run it doesn't matter. The only team that can stop the Saint's offense is the Saints. We play our game, we win.

True, the 49ers have a good D. Good....not great. Great defenses dominate the run and the pass. Great defenses don' t have a pass defense ranked in the middle of the pack of NFL teams.

People forget that our offensive line was in a state of flux early in the year. Since our O-line has gelled Brees has had time to read War and Peace in the pocket and the O is putting up huge numbers.

Unless the 49ers can solve the riddle of where's Drew Candlestick Park can really turn off the lights because the party will be over.
