Saints Lions - Colston TD ruled incomplete

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; According to the new rule it's incomplete which contradicts the rushing rule that the ground can't cause a fumble. I think they need to make the rules reflect each other....

According to the new rule it's incomplete which contradicts the rushing rule that the ground can't cause a fumble. I think they need to make the rules reflect each other.

The difference is, when you are rushing the ball, you have established possession, whereas with the pass, technically you have yet to establish possession.
