this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; New Orleans' Robert Meachem could also be a possibility because he is a downfield threat and a good receiver in the red zone. Who will pair with Bengals A.J. Green? | Cincinnati.com | cincinnati.com...

Get used to it. There are probably 31 teams targeting one or two FA Saint's somewhere on their board.

Simpson is ready for a bigger role. I don't see them going after Meachem... and if Meach is going to play 3rd fiddle, he might as well stay here. They have bigger needs than wide receivers.

When this crop of receivers thins out a lot we will realize just how much we miss Curtis Martin.

If the front office can keep this team intact I'll be massive-impressed.
Then again, only a fool would leave. Seriously. Who has more Super Bowl potential than the New Orleans Saints? Those players we lost last year are crying in Cheerios right now. Alaska |

If we lost Meach, WR's would line up to come play for us and be passed to by Brees. |

Meachem is good but there is a huge difference in catching balls from Drew versus Andy Dalton. His production would drop.
