2 YEARS IN ROW
I'm just at work still pissed off because it seem like someone new has to come up to me saying man I thought about you on Saturday. Then I started thinking we lost to years in a row to average QB's and to a TE now follow me on this one. Seattle beat use with Hasslbeck and Stevens and SF beat use with Smith and Davis now I know Lynch ran over use but he didn't do it the whole game he had that big run and that was motivation for them. We ran for less than 50 yards in both of those games and our safety couldn'd cover my grandmother which is 102 years old. It's just something to think about for our new offence and defenses coordinator that are coming in and the fact we have to get home field next year if we make the playoffs.

I feel your pain. I'm gonna think positive, and say with a new defensive coordinator, if we can come up with any kind of defense, we got an offense that will ROCK THEIR WORLD!!! Can you imagine how far this team would go if we still had Swilling, Mills, Johnson and Jackson???

i can't get that catch out of my mind it haunts me to be so sick of our defense that just sucked it up most of the year. i still see jenkins getting owned by a te. but a good t.e. i still see shanle with his thumb up his nose saying which way did he go george which way did he go? if he stays in the middle of the field he may have knocked down that ball on that t.d. pass. nope hes following jenkins all over the place instead of davis, failed. ifs ifs ifs.alex smith did play out his arse in a way that boggles alot of people.

Looking to the future has me not dwelling on the past. With a new defensive coordinator coming and possibly a new offensive coordinator[depending on what the Raiders do], I'm actually enthusiastic about how we rebuild the defense/team...

We have a chance at a better defense. That's really the only hope we have, otherwise we could have had trouble with the Giants if we did beat the 49ers. (Before you start steaming about the early win, I think the Giants are much improved and read on...)
Eli Manning would have come to NOLA a second time having already seen the Gregg Williams blitz circus and Eli is basically on his game. He sliced up Green Bay's defense like a roast. Just think, if we lost the NFCCG at home it would sting twice as bad as losing at San Fran. We've got closure, we know what the problem is, it's being addressed and we're moving forward. I'm glad we have hope for a new season. |

I bet we have a really good D this coming year, Williams might have left us sitting good with players, a new DC will surely bring in some players to teach his scheme and we will pick up a couple in FA and look to draft for hopefully starters. Things are not that gloomy in New Orleans.

You guys that disappointed we lost in the play offs?
I mean there was a time just being in was a wet dream. I love that we managed to get rid of GW so I am happy and excited already for next year. Clown should have played a cover two late in the damn game to slow them down... instead we were in MAN!!! UGH. |

Even Manning, with all his winning seasons only won 1 SB. I'm just thankful we made the playoffs and actually won a game. Euphoria is right, so many awful season with the Saints. If we made the playoffs it was a dream season, now, not getting to the SB is total failure lol! I remember once when Tolliver finally won a game, I think he torched the 49ers. After the game he said these were "good times" and he was right, we won a game. The truth is those were not good times at all. These are good times, the best the Saints have ever had.
