this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; He showed flashes at times, and played the run extremely well when he played. Being in a 9 man rotation along the D-line doesn't give him ample opportunity to rack up a bunch of stats. I'd read he graded out ...

Solid. I think Spagnuolo can get more out of him.

As long as we realize we didn't draft him for his pass rushing abilities, I think he's coming along as expected. I do hope we find the right coach to help him harness his raw athleticism... hopefully turning him into a respectable pass rusher.

I don't now if he is talented.
He wasn't the fastest DE. Just so happen he was there when we picked I feel or someone screwed up. I find myself a bigger fan of the back up DE's. He even had trouble holding containment. |

Is he an Aldon SMith..no but I think he is going to be solid. The rotation we used was just crazy. How many other teams do you know use that much of a rotation? |

i did see some good bull rushs out of him but now he needs to put spin moves into those bull rushs. he needs his name to be mentioned lots in 12 to solidify his draft status. imo
