i believe it will be spags , i'll go on a limb and say he is aready a handshake hire. the details of the hire are being hammered out right as we speak before the official announcement. payton wants this done before he can get a good nights sleep after 2 yrs of fail by our last DC

Talking about the defensive coordinators... this is somewhat surprising if it is in fact correct, since I always thought that Nolan was strictly a base 3-4 mentality coordinator.

Since we have the "Spagonator" now, why not bring in Del Rio to work with the LB's. It may be the only chance he (Del Rio) is going to have in getting to the big dance, besides it would be somewhat of a home coming for him.
He played here and his wife is from the Buyou Country

Not sure he would want that and more importantly not sure Spags would want him in his staff.
