I do not think it will be sad or anything negative or sad if PM makes the right choice and retires from the NFL on the field that is.

There are places for PM in the NFL as game commentator , front office for team (GM) , or coaching. Absolutley.

Some NFL players leave the NFL either broke or staying beyond their expiration date.
Well, PM comes from a wealthy two-parent home so he understands about finances.
That is not what is going to be his downfall.
Staying in the game too long could be a problem.
Think Bret Farve. That NFC game with the Saints ...did his eyes really roll back when he got those legal, in regualtion hits?

As for Manning's situation, I don't know how he feels about Irsay but I think that he has been just awful since the end of the season. His idiotic comments (calling the man that brought the Colts fame, fortune and a beautiful new stadium a "politician?":rolleyes:) and his desire for attention with Twitter makes him look like a buffoon and an ass. Manning deserves better treatment than that.

I hope that Peyton comes back because not many athletes have his combination of size, athleticism, intelligence, and competitiveness. He's one of the best ever to play the most difficult position in sports.
