Saints get some props from Giants
I respect Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, Brandon Jacobs told the Associated Press. He does a great job with the guys he has. But if that was Drew Brees or Aaron Rodgers on the other side, with those big play outfits, 57 seconds would have been plenty enough time for those guys.

Let us not look too far into his statement though. He was showing love for the conference. Respect for the teams that beat the Giants in the regular season. |

Plus the Giants were terrified that they might have to play the NFCC game in New Orleans.
One of the Giants players referred to the Superdome as the 'Bermuda Triangle' saying ...'you go in there and never come out!' |

Every season comes down to a few plays.
This year we didn't make them at the correct time. Successful season. WE (as fans) ARE SPOILED ROTTEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

Backhand comments, thats not a complement, it's not respect, it's a slap in the face. When have you ever known Brandon Jacobs to be respectful of other teams. He's knows he's lucky to be holding throphy right now. In terms of teams NYG is lucky to be where they are. NYG got hot at the right time and had a little luck in San Fran. People don't change, check his 09 comments about N.O. , hell check his comments right after we punished NYG in the DOME. Hell if the Cowboys made the finals against the Patriots they would have won NFC teams are just playing better ball right now!!!!

maybe he had a change of heart. I agree he knows he's lucky. All of the Giants were very happy when we lost in San Fran. No way did they want to come play us again in the Dome.
If I was Drew; I would take that as a compliment in a way. Brandon Jacobs said that if they had left 57 seconds on the clock against Drew Brees and company; the Giants lose. Not arguing with your opinion, but to me... he just said the Saints would have beat them. Thats the way I interpret what he said. I feel sure at some point in time we all have a track record about being a "Balloon Knot" about the way we feel about the Saints or some other subject we feel strongly about. Hell, I'm as big of an LSU homer as anyone in the Tiger Nation; but when we beat Bama 9Nov11 and when Bama beat us BCS (and I HATE Bama), I gave them the "Props" they deserved. JMO |

Very immaterial now. sorry game at S.F. costs us but it also made me realize that offense by itself is just not enough to get to the S.B. shows we need some more defensive and special team guys to really be a dynasty type team. There were four of five NFC teams that could have beat the Pat,s. Sorry the year is over but i hope we can come back stronger next year. We still have a lot to be grateful for because we have a good team and a great startin fondation.
