Article-Brees' agent baffled at slow pace of contract talks
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Did Brees ever say what he wanted his salary to be as he was saying that he wanted to retire a Saint? The reason I'm asking is because the part he may be leaving out is "providing they pay me ...

Did Brees ever say what he wanted his salary to be as he was saying that he wanted to retire a Saint? The reason I'm asking is because the part he may be leaving out is "providing they pay me what I think I am worth."
...and, if somebody told him that he could possibly be the first "200 million baby"...then, yes...I would want to retire a Saint, too, if they were willing to pay me that kind of money. |
