Come on guys... Hawthorne was horrible in coverage, thats why he\'d get 7 tackles a game when he\'d start... He shoulda been playing safety.

We gave Hawthorne plenty of time to develop here. Green Bay can sign him to as many extentions as they want; he will never be more than a mediocre nickle back.
I do not miss Hawthorne. Just a waste of a jersey as far as I\'m concerned. Remember the Randy Moss comment he made on his way outta NOLA? Classy guy. .02 |

Hawthorne was responsible for 50% of the receiving TDs amassed by our opponents in his last season as a Saint. Good riddance.

Hawthorne was the kind of guy that you could get excited about because of his size. He was a guy i really wanted to see develop into a quality corner but i can admit that he never did and more than likely he never will.....I dont miss him at all and I hope to see him wear the uniform of a team the Saints will be playing because i am sure that he will be picked on and exploited all day long....the guy is aweful.
