Packers re-sign DB Hawthorne, waive LB Turner
March 26, 2004 SportsLine.com wire reports GREEN BAY, Wis. -- The Green Bay Packers re-signed defensive back Michael Hawthorne and waived linebacker Ralph Turner on Friday. Hawthorne signed with the Packers on Sept. 15 and played the final 14 regular-season games and two playoff games. He had 23 tackles, one sack and two interceptions. Turner had signed a reserve/future contract with the Packers on Jan. 13 and was allocated to NFL Europe the next day.
