this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think that if there are some picks for the offensive side on this year's draft, they might very well be for a T and a TE, but defense should be the main focus with the draft....

I think Quaddus takes Jenkins spot at FS this season. And we draft a corner and DT and the rest will be on the O.

I dont get the hate for our DBs. Playing in GWs scheme and not being able to get to the QB would make Revis look awful as well. |

However - how good would our DB's be with a "respectable" pass rush? And I'd like to see our personnel under Spagnuolo's guidance -even Harper concrete feet, bad angles, water balloon hits and all... ![]() |

I don't doubt that Jenkins "cover" skills will improve with better line play. I'm not real sure about Harper though, he has been playing like a small LB in Williams scheme.
It's tough to say what Flajole can do with him... |

I'd rather see more of a LS/RS composition where both Jenkins and A-Q would take the field at the same time than see A-Q replace Jenkins as the FS, but I do think that Harper should be a starter at SS with Jenkins at FS.

With L-R safeties, our LB's are gonna have to cover those RB's and TE's, which may now be an option since we've upgraded all 3 LB positions. |

If Jenkins our1st round pick plays anything like he did last year, you know the deer in the headlights type of play that he does, bench him. Quaddus is much more natural at FS. Jenkins has gone from corner to FS and has had the luxury of being schooled under one of the greatest FS to play the game in Sharper, so if he doesn't improve and when I say improve I mean by leaps and bounds, what do we really have. Answer: Nothing!!
