Yes but I think yall are missing one key ingredient in all this.
You can have all the talent in the world but if you don't coach it, you don't teach fundamentals. They will never play to their potential. I never saw GW or any of the D coaches, coach up the players. Our D backs dropped balls because... THEY WERE NOT LOOKING FOR THE BALL. They were looking to make a hit or a tackle because they were so weak at making a fundamental tackle. Take care and clean up the little things then everything will fall into place. Sharper was a players coach. He coached and mentored everyone around him that is why we were good. Every play Sharper was congrats or showing them what they should have done or been. You never saw that from a coach. All they cared about is that the player blitzed when he was suppose to. I don't think we really have all the talent though that we need on D. The secondary I like for the most part and you better keep your eye on Johnny Patrick. Our DE's and OLB so needs revamping. I don't even know why we drafted some of them. We should have been looking for SPEED and they got perhaps the slower group in the early rounds. |
