I think Nicks will get tagged. The front office needs to get a move on before we lose to many players.

I agree. I think Brees will get a fair contract; it may not make him the highest paid player, but that would be because Brees is trying to help the Saints save money to sign other players.
I believe the Saints will make an offer to Colston; and put the ball firmly in his court to decide if he wants to test the FA waters or stay with the team that has the best chance to get back to another Super Bowl. |

Tag Nicks. Let Meach and Henderson, Vilma, Porter, and Will Smith go via trade if we can and problem solved. If anyone can get something done with the big 3 Loomis can.

Why would you trade Smith? He has had a very good career as a Saint. 399 tackles, 61.5 sacks, 1 safety, 23 pass deflections, and 2 interceptions. Hes definitely not part of the problem. I would let Ellis go before I got rid of Smith. He has always been a reliable pass rusher.

The sacks he did get this year were when Harper or some other DB or free safety was blitzing the QB. Smith would be a horrible player to waste. Trust me, if we could get a quality DE on the other side his numbers would increase exponentialy.
