Can the franchise tag be reused!
this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; That is not true... you don't lose your tag unless the FA period begins. Essentially if you tag someone today then and you end up signing him to a long term deal over night or tomorrow then you still keep ...

That is not true... you don't lose your tag unless the FA period begins.
Essentially if you tag someone today then and you end up signing him to a long term deal over night or tomorrow then you still keep your tag and can use it on another player. You don't give up the tag until FA begins. This was actually done by NY Giants not that long ago. |
