Bountygate possibly taint Saints Super Bowl win

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I think that the rat might have been Alex Brown - he makes the most sense if compared to the timetable. He was cut late last pre-season, which would coincide with the resurfacing of the evidence....

Assuming all of the team had knowledge and not just defense, my guess is first rat was Mike Bell. He was unceremoniously dumped after the Super Bowl. But...since he was unestablished in the league, I could see him recanting when pressured.

The new allegations could have come from....Bush. He may not have liked the way he was sent packing, etc and he would have had enough status to get the league's attention again.

No proof...just a thought.
