Parameters for a Colston deal
Bills re-signed WR Stevie Johnson to a five-year, $36.25 million contract.
The move will be officially announced at a 10AM ET press conference on Monday. The deal includes $19.5 million guaranteed, and will pay Johnson over $24 million in its first three years. Johnson was seeking roughly $8 million annually. The 2008 seventh-round pick is now signed through 2016, when he will be 30. He's posted an average line of 79/1,039/8.5 since being inserted into the starting lineup in 2010. Source: Adam Schefter on Twitter I guess in a way, the market has been set. |
