Pass on Warren Moon and take Richard Todd. I forgot who was 2nd qb under Richard Todd. Maybe it was still Dave Wilson of California. I still remember the pictures at the press conference of Richard Todd and his wife. RTodd was like, just there. Here was just a place to just kill some time and get a few good pays for investments seemed to be his facial expression. Kenny "Snake" Stabler WAS very good, but we got him at the very end of his career. The backup qb was Dave Wilson. Kenny or Dave? Dave or Kenny? Take Kenny. I always hear people here knock Aaron Brooks. Yes, he was a mediocre qb just like all of the rest we had before him. No one mentions the others we had. Brees is the only winning qb and most talented qb we have ever had. Yes, Brees had all the other elements with him in fellow palyers, caoching staff, but judging him alone, Brees is a very talented, smart qb. Oh and Archie Manning was ok. Just ok. Yes, as my Dearly Deceased Dad used to say, "Archice was ok or maybe he could have been better but , "Saints had a bunch of moochey heads back then." My dad was old. Moochey heads is what he called the 1970s' cocaine headed players-Chuck Muncie and the gang back them. I cannot remember Kilmer. I was too young and never read up over the years about him in our Saints. That is proof enough by not much mention of him so he was just ok. |
