I could see this being that longsnapper that got everybody involved in some shenanigans and then got the ax and got sued.

But would a long snapper have access to the documents/evidence, because he certainly didn't participate in the defensive meetings?

I'm still leaning towards Alex Brown.

McCray's name keeps popping up.

Alex Brown makes sense too, but not as much.

It could also be some obscure special teamer or practice squad guy we don't even remember.

For me it doesn´t even matter. We did wrong, we should get punished for that but hopefully not this years draft and without any player suspensions!

... it's all Greg Williams, the motive & the timeline fits. The investigation was beginning to close in, so he turned himself in hoping for leniency. He's a H/C now, he's trying to protect his future in the league.

I would add Charles Grant to that list.
As far as the LS, Kevin Houser I believe was already cut before we hired Greg Williams.

Look. Before ya'll go through the rest of the roster and throw every single defensive player on the team that won your Super Bowl under the bus, keep in mind, the only problem with all these speculations of yours is that it's not a player, it was an employee of the Saints. Sharper specifically said employee, not player. When have you ever heard an NFL player refer to another fellow player, as an "employee" of the team.

When Darren Sharper said it? ... ... sorry, didn't mean to be a smart-ass ... I see your point and if it's not Williams, a non-player employee would make sense to me. I can't see a player violating the unwritten code among athletes, "what happens in the locker room, stays in the locker room", regardless of how disgruntled they are.

One question I would have is, "how would a non-player employee have knowledge of or a connection with a bounty-pool?

IDK, what kind of employee positions on an NFL team would place someone privy to that kind of information?

So, I know I know...

But I know a guy who knows someone who went to School with Remi. I have been told that he's a pretty stand up guy. I know that's not exactly straight from the horses mouth or anything - just for whatever it's worth.

Someone in security or IT. From what is being said, it was emails that the league got there hands on as proof to all of this.
