Yeah, signing Trufant would be like repeating the same mistake they made last off-season in signing Fabian Washington.

The only thing is Washington has never been good... always had great measurables which make him interesting.

I thought that Washington did have some productive years with the Raiders earlier on, but you're right, he was never that good, which begs the question: why were the Saints interested in him?

Yeah, among other things he suffers from chronic back pains.

Measureables, depth, and probably cheap. We already had Greer, Porter, and Robinson in front of him... at best he was going to be our dime in front of Patrick.

For every Darren Sproles and Jimmy Graham we take a chance on, there is a Fabian Washington or Shaun Rogers.
