Saints hosting Bunkley, and other free agent defensive tackle notes | ProFootballTalk

Larry Holder of CBS Sports reports that the Saints will host defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley for a free agent visit on Sunday.

It’s Bunkley’s first known visit since the signing period began last Tuesday.

Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune took the time to examine where other outlets had Bunkley rated in the 2012 free agency class. SI’s Peter King had him as the No. 10 overall free agent. CBS Sports’ Pete Prisco rated Bunkley 24th. We had him 53rd.

Bunkley is a 4-3 nose tackle, essentially an undersized run stopper. He hasn’t sacked a quarterback since the 2009 season.
