this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; honestly, i hope we do get Law for a 2nd rd pick... that\'s a steal to me. i think as far as 1st rd, i would really love to see williams in a fleur-de-lis helmet next aug....

OK...for the Saints to acquire Ty Law...I would love it. I am not a huge fan of Loomis but you have to give the guy credit for being able to manage the team\'s money. I am sure that he could devise some sort of plan to fit Law in and still be able to lock up Deuce and Howard longterm.

Yeah, kind of like Turley did.
One noticable difference - Turley starting complaining in training camp the year BEFORE thy started contract negociations and he kept bad mouthing after he left. He also wasn\'t alone in his criticism and his team hadn\'t just won the Super Bowl and wasn\'t being coached by a guy considered to be the best in biz at the time. |
