Not as bad as I'd feared. I've LOL'd at some of the overreactions!

Frankly, I am staggered. But what do I know.
What sanctions were ou thinking? Oh no we will not. The Offense is so different. And on defense, the 2011 Rams worked with many personnel missing. The 2012 Saints will be fit and ready. |

Losing our coach and GM would hurt if it was permanent, but it's one year. They say a good coach can help a team win one, maybe two games based on play-calling and clock management. The players on the field are the ones who have the biggest impact, and last I checked we still have the baddest offense ever to roam the NFL. We have other guys who can call plays as evidenced when Payton got hurt last season. This is obviously a harsh penalty, but suspending our coach and GM isn't as bad as taking away our entire draft IMO. That would have made me freak out. Losing the future backbone of the franchise hurts worse than having your coach suspended for a year. The players make the plays. Two good things come from this: 1. We will have the biggest chip on our shoulder in franchise history. 2. All bandwagon fans are gone. If you were borderline, you're rooting for the Cowboys or Packers about now. Now we will see who the real Who Dats are... |

Sean Payton should coach via radio. Carmichael should have an invisible chip in his ear.

When this broke at work, I felt like someone had just come up out of nowhere and punched me in the face. This hurts.
I am a straight up pessimist and envision the worst possible scenario, but in my worst nightmares I never ever could've come up with this. It's outlandishly ridiculous we go down like this to serve as an example to others. Vilma must be biting his nails right now. No matter what, WHO DAT? I stand by my team always, now more than ever. |

I know it's improbable, but if the Saints made it to the SB, or even getting into the playoffs, it would be the ulitimate middle finger to Goodell. Despite all his effort, the team actually improves.
