Benson already has interims Carmichael/Spagnuolo in camp. He gets to keep Payton's $8 mil, share an extra $2 mil with the interims, and then let Payton pick up where he left off. There is a certain loyalty that's woefully missing in today's NFL. Sticking with who brung ya would go a long way to rectify that for this organization. Things would take a drastic turn if Benson takes the out route with Sean Payton. |
