The league is being dragged kicking and screaming into court by these former "heroes" and needs to save face. This is just a part of their save face plan. Unfortunately for the Saints we documented our program and air-mailed a ready-made escape route. |

Same thing , different team.
I am not one of those who cry, "But they did it too." The wording is different and the GB case was in 2007. All I can say is here is a vowel and buy a clue. Saints heads who allowed this were wrong. For the umpteeth time, I do not like ugly palyers. Nasty hits. NFL does not mean to cripple opponents. Saints head honchos needed to be punished. The punishments from Goodell were way too severe. So be it. Saints coaching staff and non coaching staff need to just do it. Play for broke. The Saints can win just as any other team. Pay Brees his worth. Pay him for two years. Make this year happen. |

That Packers "incentive" was against the rules, but do you not see the difference? The Saints were getting money for carting players off the field. That was adding incentive to hurting players. The Packers were getting money for playing well. HUGE difference between "$1,000 for a cart off" and "$500 for holding Adrian Peterson to under 100 yards rushing".
Since I'm here, I might as well bring a little bit of joy to you Saints fans. Have a laugh. |

Now this is what I DID NOT want to hear.
If we are going to get 40 lashes, everybody ought to get something. Cut off a pinky...something! Just be fair! |

Probably just making an example out of us and making it seem they honestly care about players health since they have a lawsuit against the em.

The difference is... the Saints aren't being punished for the incentives that were against the CBA.
Let me make this clear. They're being punished for PAYING A PLAYER AFTER THEY INJURE SOMEONE. The Packers did not do this. |
