this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I remember someone mentioning John Gruden. Gruden is a control freak as well! We all know, some head coaches, were better off as coordinators, and some coordinators, are better off as head coaches. I don't think it's a good idea ...

I remember someone mentioning John Gruden. Gruden is a control freak as well! We all know, some head coaches, were better off as coordinators, and some coordinators, are better off as head coaches. I don't think it's a good idea to throw Carmichael, who has NEVER been a head coach, in the driver's seat, in the middle of all this controversy. The controversy is the problem right now, whether you want to believe it or not. Parcell's can handle that. All the questions, the press is going to throw at him, over the bounty issues. Parcell's is the perfect choice, for what we are going to have to deal with this upcoming season. I like this idea, and support it fully. Payton comes back in 2013, and we don't skip a beat.
